Purpura causes

Purpura is a scattering of small, bright, red or purple flat spots, which appear transparent under the skin and does not disappear when they are pressed. This is a small effusion of blood from the vessels. These lesions do not itch and does not hurt. The purpura usually shows a bleeding disorder. There are two major types of purpura: purpura arthritis, and thrombocytopenic purpura. Each type of purpura has causes of its own. The purpura is a hemorrhagic lesion in the skin or mucous membranes, characterized by a purple appearance that would not cancel the vitropression. The distribution of purpuric spots may be petechial, bruises, or in the form of vibices.

Purpura mechanism

Extravasation of red blood cells from the capillaries, accumulating in the dermis.
